In St. Killian’s we aim to develop the full potential of every student in a learning environment where fairness, understanding, success and discipline is pursued.
Vision Statement
We, in St Killian’s envisage a school based on fairness, equality and discipline providing a secure environment for learning and teaching, which is conducive to the holistic development of the whole school community.
The atmosphere will be open, supportive and welcoming, where students, parents, teachers, support staff feel a sense of belonging, and Board of Management are active partners in the education of all students.
School Crest
Our school crest was designed by our school community; students, staff and parents. It represents the key elements that underpin our school.
An open book signifies education, knowledge, wisdom and learning that takes place at St. Killian’s College. The shaking of Hands symbolises the friendships that are formed within our inclusive school community and with the extended community which we serve. The Athlete represents the many extra-curricular activities in which our students take part.
